Get Back to the Young and Healthy 'You' in a Heated Room

Wearing loose clothing, concealing those love handles and adopting mindless crash diets won't help you attain rapid weight loss. Try hot-yoga poses and get amazing results! The humidity and heat in the room help you to handle those challenging yoga poses with much excitement. Increased temperature causes you to sweat a lot and flush out toxins from your body. Chair Pose (Utkatasana) 

This hot yoga pose stretches your spine, chest and hips. Chair pose also tones your ankle, thigh and knee muscles and your legs. Besides decreasing weight, especially in the buttocks, this yoga pose also balances your body. Stand straight with the length of your feet arm apart. Let your palms face downwards as you stretch your arms forward. Remember to keep your knees and elbows straight always. Push your pelvis down, and then bend your knees as if you want to sit on a chair. Ensure you don't bend your knees past your feet. Then hold the pose for about 60 seconds.

Downward facing dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana)

It's the best pose for those who want to enhance digestion and strengthen their abdominal muscles. The pose improves your blood circulation and tones your legs and arms. It's a great stretching exercise if you want to boost your self-confidence. Stand with your legs and arms with your head facing downwards. Then lift your hips and stretch your knees and elbows straight until you form an inverted 'V' shape. Keep your legs and hips straight and your hands in line with your shoulders. Straighten your neck and let your palms push you forward. Touch your inner arms with your ears and hold the pose for about 3-5 minutes.

Plow Pose (Halasana)

Plow pose improves the function of your thyroid gland and regulates metabolism. It stretches your shoulders and spine. Halasana keeps headaches and insomnia at bay and cures backaches. Lie down on your back and keep your toes and feet together. Keep your arms on either side and lift both legs off the ground or floor at a 90-degree angle. Lift your upper abdomen, lower abdomen and buttocks as you lift your legs. Get your legs over your head and touch the ground with your toes. Touch your chin with your chest and keep your legs straight. Hold plow pose for 60 seconds before you relax.

You are more confident when your body is toned and healthy. The above hot yoga poses will effectively handle your weight loss issues and leave you looking younger and feeling better. Moreover, these poses are great for your overall health. Your lifestyle contributes a lot to the extra kilos you get. However, practising these poses every day for about two months will leave you smiling and admiring yourself.
